When looking for a mobile multipurpose trough, we had no hesitation in purchasing a Normanby Fibreglass trough. In fact we purchased a further three after finding how useful and robust they are.
Primarily we purchased them for feeding palm kernel, but have used them for silage and other supplements.
The locking system means the cows can have a scratch but not move them about. Easily moveable around paddocks and farm with a four-wheeler. You can place them quickly, and efficiently, where the least amount of damage will occur to the pasture.
We believe they have been a very worthwhile capital investment.

When the decision was made to feed palm kernel to our 450 cow herd in late spring, a feeding solution needed to be found reasonably quickly.

The troughMOBILE is easy to tow by our 4 wheeler, the Gator or our Utes. Two trailers with 500kg’s of PKM in each trailer can easily be pulled, one behind the other by a four wheel motor-bike.
